Wednesday, August 21, 2013 - While we were driving home from dinner, I saw the full moon.  We stopped at the house so I could get my camera and we drove down to Green Road.  This is a completely unobstructed view.  love it.  djb

Friday, August 9, 2013 - I wanted to put a picture of one of the calendula in here.  It's pronounced:  kuh - lend - you - luh.   It's NOT pronounced like calendar.  That reminds me of ALSTROMERIA.  Al - strow - merry - yuh.   You use the uh sound in because that is the schwa sound (as I recall).  If you used ya that could sound like yeah.  Okay, it's time to end this silliness.  later, djb

Elliot on August 5, 2007 - Happy Birthday to Elliot 6 years ago.  

August 6, 2013 - Yesterday was Elliot's Happy Birthday.  So, I'm either 1 day late or 364 days early putting in this picture of him with his birthday cake.  Better late than never. I put this photo on my Facebook page because it reminds me of the good old days.  We had warm weather and we had lots of fun in the sun.  And it's nice to see all the flowers I had.  djb
