Friday, May 6, 2011- Yesterday, the tree trimming guys finally came to do what else??? Trim the trees!!! yeah!

They were here from just before 8 a.m. until just after 3 p.m. And they worked like troopers all day long.

I was so glad that they got here BEFORE the flowering crab started flowering because that's when the bees arrive en masse. Of course, there won't be as many flowers this year but the tree is more open and maybe some grass will grow underneath.

It's a gorgeous day today. I'm going to mow for the second time this year. Can't wait. It's supposed to get up to 68 degrees. For us, that's like a heat wave.
