Friday, June 1, 2012 - Okay, so I'm doing this backwards but I had to put this photo of the mockingbird parents on here.

When Diane and I would sit out in the backyard by the pool, we'd watch these two flying around, watching their eggs and generally act extremely protective and territorial. Their nest was right next to where we were sitting.

Hey, I do have a photo of the four eggs.  I wonder if I can pop that in here.  Let me try it.

Here are the four mockingbird eggs which have since hatched and become baby mockingbirdies.  oh boy!!! djb
